At We Are Direct Cremations we have chosen to become an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR) of Serene Funeral Planning Limited (Serene) who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Firm reference number: 975199. Serene offer competitively priced direct cremation funeral plans which include the necessary services for a direct cremation and guarantee the cost of the cremation.
As an IAR of Serene our role is limited to introducing customers to Serene Funeral Planning. Serene is the funeral plan provider and is responsible for setting up and administering the funeral plan. We will be responsible for delivering the funeral services in accordance with the plan, so you can be sure we will take care of things for you when the time comes.
Cost and Next Steps
The total cost of a We Are Direct Cremations plan with Serene is £1,300.00 which includes a £250.00 administration fee. This is an amount paid to Serene for setting up your funeral plan and administering it throughout your lifetime. Further details, including cancellation rights, will be provided by Serene before you make a decision. Once in place you can contact Serene at any time to discuss your plan.

We arrange the cremation
We manage cremations for a respectful farewell, allowing families to carefully honour their loved one, including urn selection and unique tribute planning.

On the day
Friends and family gather elsewhere to pay their final respects, often participating in a meaningful ceremony before the process begins. Please note that this will be at a place of their choosing but not at the crematorium itself.

After the cremation
Families receive the ashes in an urn and can choose to honour their loved one through memorial services or by keeping the ashes in a meaningful place.
